I told you. The tax is tied to commerce, not the possession of the gun. If it were tied to the gun, the tax would be due everytime it was transferred, not just at the retail point.

Actually it’s not the truth. Republicans try to suppress democrat votes and vice versa. That in one case they are minority votes is correlation, not causation.
