We definitely can’t afford to fund it as is. So if I’m president Trump, (“President Trump”, doesn’t that sound great? 
) I’m telling congress that I will fund the defense of Ukraine. But it must be offset with spending cuts. Say, a 20 percent spending cut across every non defense federal agency. Or maybe trade it for the elimination of the department of education. Then let the democrats decide how important it is to them to fund Ukraine. Let the libs decide.
You can’t run a government like this. You’re going to have the House, the Senate and the Presidency. Get together and come up with a foreign policy.

I presumed Trump would press to get Ukraine to fold in some peace deal with Russia. He said he’d end it in a day.

- Russia not invading anybody
- Arabs and Israeli’s making peace
- Iran being broke
- Palestinians being quiet
- Houthi’s being quiet
- ISIL being defeated
- No casualties in A-stan for 18 months
- China signing a trade agreement
- NAFTA getting scrapped for something better
- Ukraine having the weapons they needed to initially
stave off a Russian invasion - NK not firing Missiles
- NATO countries agreeing to pay up at the bar (good thing too, or they wouldn’t be able to help Ukraine)
- Almost forgot, the most secure southern border ever
