So what is net neutrality a solution to?
To keep ISPs from blocking Alex Jones. If they do, he would be truly banned from the internet
Twitter!=internet

So as I said a solution in search of a nonexistent problem.
You just said the problem existed. You said this
Emphasis mine.
You said the internet censored him. If that was true… ISPs were not acting net neutral.
If instead you meant Twitter censored him… then I would agree but Twitter is not the internet

Twitter is under no legal obligation to publish Alex Jones’s harassment inducing lies so he can sell brain force one pills.

You mean a greenmail attempt, don’t you?
It allows him to put in a bid to buy out the entire operation; as long as he is not on the board. And the board have to justify saying no to a sale that would be financially lucrative for the shareholders. And if they say no and Musk offloads his shares the board will have to explain their reasons for choosing to subject the company to the huge collapse in share price that will ensue. And the real prime directive of the board will be evident: not to make a profit, but to censor global speech.

I am sure that you believe that to be true.
When of course non of this happens other than thr Musk sale possibly, what will be the theory then? Globalists got to him?
Why? You just made a prediction about the board. What’s made you hesitant now?
I don’t believe I will be wrong. But you never know.
Sounds like conservatives don’t believe private companies should have the right to run their businesses as they see fit
They say there’s always a tweet. lol

Not to mention the stupidity of it considering how much of it companies like Blackrock and Vanguard owned already.

I don’t really care one way or another about Musk and Twitter, only that is become fascinating how democrats are pulling the pin on themselves.
Like Robert Reich just did, equating free speech to Vladimir Putin of all people.
The GOP no longer needs any real platform to stand on. All they have to say is six words:
“We’re not nuts, like this guy.”

The poison pill from Twitter’s board makes it clear that shareholder value is not the objective.
The board’s actions are consistent with Twitter being a state-affiliated monopoly. The primary purpose of Twitter appears to be to provide a forum for state-supported propaganda while censoring dissident voices.
Will 50+ former intel officials send out a letter of support for the board?
Will the Biden administration start a campaign of selective prosecution to support the board?

So Twitter did the largest audit ever of it’s platform to examine political bias.
Would it surprise you to find out that Right Leaning News sources got greater amplification than Left leaning News Sources?

So, even with shadow banning, censorship and more stringent application of TOS to conservatives, the popularity of the left is still behind on Twitter. The left is truly in trouble politically.
