Well, if one is going to censor things written in Portuguese, then one needs to speak Portuguese so, probably a guy named Juan who grew up in Brazil or Portugal.
Oh wait, do you mean who issued the order? Some un-elected leftist government I think.
It is still a powerful medium.
Much of the MSM still goes there for its stories (its where they get their leads)
And a large number of MSM stories are nothing more than responses to tweets. âI a journlalist. Like everyone, I have a twitter account and instead ofposting my response I have decided to call my tweet-response ânewsâ and read it to you on TV.â sort of thing.
But the Fidelity analysis is about Twitterâs business value not its impact.
Its not getting advertisers because of the (false) accusation that it is a hotbed of racism.
It is not getting advertisers because few poeple under 30 use it anymore.
It isnot getting advertisers because for a smallfee, users don;t see advertisements anymore.
So, yeah, it has lost a lot of its business value.
I think this depends a lot on the type of tweets one interacts with. If you read a lot of racist tweets, the algorithm gives you even more racist tweets to read.
Is there a solution that will help restore some of Muskâs purchase price? For example, how can the platform lure more young users?
Theoretically it could become a place people start going when they turn 30, become serious. etc.
For Now:
Wanna see a video about hot dogs on a string?
Go to Tik tok.
Wanna hear then latest thing George Sorosâ son, said or the govât of Iran said or read the somewhat alrming details from the latest FDIC report? Go to twitter.
Hypothetically, as people grow up they would migrate to twitter.
More likely, twitterâs days are numbered and it is the next My Space, Iomega Zip Drive or 8-track tape.
Added:
I feel like I should make some analogy like
âReading the NY times vs reading Tiger Beat and Mad Magazineâ here but no good one comes to mind.
