Wa he asked to do so? Did he keep what he did from new management?
The amount of defense is staggering.
Itâs literally his job. Itâs the sort of thing a lawyer gets fired (or disbarred) for not doing.
See Alex Jonesâ attorney, as an example.

Link to Musk accusing him of suppressing stuff?

What makes you think it was his job and not anouther lawyer in the company? Perhaps that is why he got fired because he involved himself where he shouldnât have or was told not too.

His job title - Deputy General Counsel.
Meaning, all of Twitterâs other lawyers report to him (excepting the General Counsel themselves, of course).

What makes you think he was the only deputy counsel if there is such a thing like multiple vice presidents in a big company. Those responsibilities might not have fallen under him but others. His boss didnât think it did.
Twitter had two deputy general counsels, and no general counsel (Musk fired him) - Baker, who handled litigation, and Tina Hwang, who leads the IP department.
Thereâs really no doubt which side handles privilege review (and itâs not the IP side).

You believe it is a coincidence Twitter hired Baker in June 2020?

Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook and Brandonâs senior energy advisor.
They just flow seamlessly back and forth as needed.

Is Musk moving information capitalism forward? Speeding it up?
Man, have you heard that Twitter had a secret cabal of âmanagersâ who would gather in âmeetingsâ to discuss company policy? And were advised by âlawyers?â
Just unbelievable.

Never before seen in history. Unprecedented.

They even had âlawyersâ vetting information about to be released publicly. Unheard of.
