No. Twitter policy as written by staff of Musk are not necessarily according to Musk’s expectations. There are a lot of people at Twitter who want Musk’s management to look bad. Just as there were a lot of bureaucrats who were rogue and did not follow Trump’s instructions to his agencies.

Show me where Musk intended the eight dollar verification not to be a verification that the account name and picture was in fact the actual person or company of that name and portrait.

How do you get permission from investors to root out all those saboteurs and replace them with free speech believers? Well, if the investors force you to buy it knowing you intend to make it a free speech platform, you have the keys to the guillotine. Investors want a return on their investment. They are not giving him money to run Twitter into the ground.
