On February 13, 2017, Flynn resigned as National Security Advisor, following news reports about his communications with the Russian ambassador, Sergey Kislyak and additional reports that he had misled the Vice President about them. Flynn’s 24-day tenure as National Security Advisor was the shortest in the 63-year history of the office. Those communications he had with the Russian ambassador were subsequently leaked to the press.

On December 1, 2017, special counsel Robert Mueller agreed to a plea bargain where Flynn pleaded guilty to “willfully and knowingly” making “false, fictitious and fraudulent statements” to the FBI regarding conversations with Russia’s ambassador.

Only Trumps associates are being prosecuted for these “crimes”. Lots of dems did the same stuff. We all know it.

#477

Lots of people lie to the FBI and don’t get prosecuted. We all know that too… Flynn served his country well. His only real crime is working for Trump.

#478

If other Democrats committed similar crimes… Trumps DOJ should do something about it… Don’t you think?

#479

We all know Hillary’s aids lied to the FBI…

#480

Why is it the trump syncophants are the ones who believe that one can be trapped into lying and that it’s some kind of excuse…?

#481

“We” know but the DOJ doesn’t? That’s weird…

#482

They all know it too, and chose not to prosecute…

#483

No, he didn’t sell anything!

#484

Trumps DOJ is choosing not to prosecute… that’s weird…
