I’m not worried or in denial. The message is out that there needs to be changes to policing and worshipping of traitors from the Civil War. Lard of the Ramp is hunkered in his basement, turning out lights. That’s a sure fire way to help bring about change.

It’s a drop in the ocean my friend. Look at the children that were just murdered this weekend. Now come on. Every weekend it’s a shoot-a-thon in many major cities and is exacerbated when police presence is reduced. Now…removing the PC factor, do you agree?

Why do you frame it…worshipping traitors? It’s our history…plain and simple. It’s a reminder of something none of us want repeated. Erase it and it’s a step forward to repeating it. Really? Now its back to warm weather? Then explain why in mid-June (its hot out) Texas and Arizona and Florida and Brazil are seeing major upticks in cases if “warmer weather” wanes the virus? Sounds like there’s a gaping hole in that “theory”. And who in Florida is social distancing when beaches are packed?

I don’t think about it at all. I have present matters of great concern that far, far outweigh such thoughts. When I do remember it, I think back to the times they were in and conclude…slavery was wrong. Their reason for succession was wrong. Our country entered it’s worst war of our entire history and more men died fighting it than all other wars combined. When I see a statue from that time period…I think…I don’t ever want that repeated and in essence is a motivation to leave it as a reminder to us all.

The people who are vulnerable know we’re reopening the economy and that people will be exposed.

They can take the necessary precautions to protect themselves.

IF that means they don’t get to go back to "life as normal, that is the cost of being highly at risk.

Is it fair that bars are open and peoiple get to drink when we still have millions of alcoholics?

Is it fair that pharmacies remain open when we still have millions of people addicted to Pharmaceuticals they can’t get legally?

Sometimes life sucks and it’s never fair, if someone is at risk it’s up to them to take the necessary measures to protect themselves, we can’t put them all in bubbles or keep the economy shut down interminably in the name of protecting them.

Just like the Confederate flag waving on the capitals of southern states, it’s dying. Let it go. Let those who reside there do it on their own. Just like I’ve said regarding those statues; if those living there, through their local governments want them removed…remove them. The individual would have a legitimate case for filing and for filing for special dispensation under the ADA because of their preexisting conditions making them unfit for the work place.
