There were a lot more of them than there were officers behind that door. If Babbitt had gotten through she would have eliminated the barricade and allowed all those Dudes to come through to overwhelm them. Any of them could have jumped through and try the same approach, eventually it would have worked. But no one did.
Kind of pathetic for an insurrection, if you ask me.
A suspect with a criminal record resisting arrest gets shot by a police officer…I remember two incidents one driving off in a vehicle which could certainly be a deadly weapon the other while trying to grab at the officer’s gun. Both cases a gunshot ended the potential threat and you leftists lost your damn minds. “Just let him go and catch him later” you folks said.
She crossed a barricade…ok. I see no reason she had to die. I do see a smartest guy in the room leftwinger desperately trying to justify his hypocrisy. I saw some video of her before she was killed she was very calmly talking to people around her…not sone crazed lunatic as you apparently want to make her out to be.
Y’all second guess law enforcement every day. Y’all have spent almost three years lying about the insurrection that never was…you apologized for the lengthy time period it took to come up with a story to cover officer Byrd’s ass.
Most of America moved on from 1-6-21 long ago…only leftwingers who desperately need the campaign issue continue to cling to the day they have misrepresented (Pearl Harbor 9-11…not even close) since the day it happened.
Anyway my position is clear…go ahead type whatever you want…
Curious isn’t it that many of the j6 rioters plead guilty to their charges and were sorry for doing so. Many blamed Trump and said they were there at his invitation.
None of them mounted any of the defences that I’m seeing here. Maybe their lawyers missed a beat.
If Ashli Babbit was murdered for nothing by the state, why didn’t her family sue.
Also murder requires malice aforethought which would have been impossible given the circumstances.
Sadly the only people who were close enough to Ashli to make a difference were the people surrounding her. They could have done more to protect her before her fate was sealed.
Maybe if people ducked and covered at the threat of gunfire instead of proceeding on she might still be alive today.
Why didn’t people pause after being warned and decide how to proceed instead of breaking the door down.
The men around her should have pulled her back.
At the very least people should have paused at the door and waited.
It isn’t being published my friend but the FBI had operatives there, just like they did when the Governor Whitmer kidnapping took place that the judge recognized. Guess what happened to that same FBI leader? He was transferred to DC a very short time before J6.
