More obstruction

I always wondered why liberals hated america so much? Is it because we are the last standing super power? Why was Obama’s apology tour so cherished, by liberals? Is it because their inner cities plantations dwindling?

Shifty Schiff said he had such evidence over a year ago. Why hasn’t he made the evidence public?

The House inquiry into the Nixon Impeachment went on for six months before the House first voted on the inquiry.

There is no Constitutional requirement for such a vote – enough with this tired talking point.

Given our performance in Syria last week, why do you think we are a superpower.

Kim Jung Il rolled Trump
Erdogan rolled Trump
Putin has had Trump in his back pocket from the beginning.

Locking up children in cages does not make one a superpower.

It’s the right thing to do. Right now the White House can tell pelosi to pound sand.
Also I saw where pelosi is saying McConnells timeline may be too short. Lol tell tale signs the botox queen is stonewalling and this supposed impeachment is more of a liberal campaign show.

I know america bad. Orange man bad.
Try a history book.

That strategy worked so well for Richard Nixon… you might want to come up with one with a higher chance of success.

Of course, if one reads a history book one can read about how the US was a superpower. We achieved great things: like the defeat of Communism and the moon landing.

My point was that Donald Trump does not have us behaving like a superpower. I gave examples. You ignored that point because you really no defense for Trump’s dismantling our alliances and licking Putin’s boots, as he did in the Helsinki statement on Russian interference.

The Nixon impeachment the minority had subpeona powers which was voted on, huh. Guess pelosi doesnt want to look fair for some reason.

The Nixon Impeachment was preceded by a year long Special Counsel investigation… .carried on privately, with no rights for those being investigated to cross exam or call witnesses.

The Clinton Impeachment proceeded in much the same way, except that the Republican Special Counsel leaked embarrassing materials about Clinton like a sieve – so it wasn’t nearly as private as the Cox and Jaworski efforts.

DOJ received the Whistleblower complaint and decided to not investigate. DOJ did not gather any evidence before making that decision. AG Barr could have appointed a Special Prosecutor but he did not.

The point of the Impeachment Inquiry – as opposed to a formal Impeachment process – is to carry out the tasks the would have been the Provence of the Special Counsel had one been appointed.

All the Trump-defense process complaints ignore why this an “Inquiry” and not an “Impeachment.” They also ignore that the process Pelosi put in motion is entirely consistent with Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution.

I believe, Bob Barr made a huge error in not appointing a Special Counsel in this matter – one whose conclusions he then could have buried. Barr is loyal to Trump but maybe not that smart.

Pelosi and Schiff stand on firm Constitutional and precedent grounds to to quote the inimitable Mick Mulvaney, “Get over it.”

Again there was a vote to allow subpeona powers for the minority in both clinon and nixon impeachment. Pelosi doesnt want this to happen. So let’s just throw being fair out the window this is purely political.

Elections have consequences. You used to love that line, what happened l?

Its really not a tired talking point. Under the Pelosi/Schiff theory the House can subpoena anything from the very first day a President takes office under the theory that they just might find something somewhere that is impeachable. All that they have to do is have some committee to write up a broad subpoena.

is that what happened?

Why didn’t Boehner think of this when he was Speaker of the 114th Congress and changed the rules? Hmmmmmm.

“The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.”

Seems crystal clear our Constitution commands “ The House of Representatives shall … have the sole Power of Impeachment.”

It doesn’t say that the Speaker of the House shall have the power of impeachment.

And on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, the House of Representatives voted to kill an impeachment resolution to proceed with impeachment of the President.

The House of Representatives has expressed its will and killed an attempt to proceed to impeachment of the President. Why is Nancy-botox-Pelosi ignoring the expressed will of the House of Representatives?

Please quote the Constitution as to what Pelosi or Schiff are doing that is improper. The fact that you don’t like it really doesn’t matter

Why now… because evidence of blatantly impeachable offenses has become available over the past three weeks. The House is free to override Pelosi at this point… but they are not doing so.

The House already took a vote and rejected to proceed to impeachment. Nancy-botox-Pelosi is free to schedule another vote to override the Hose vote which rejected moving forward with impeachment.

Why is Nancy-botox-Pelosi obstructing the taking of a vote to move to impeachment?

Why would you being arguing to lend the impeachment inquiry even more legitimacy? Makes no sense.
