Is that objectively a negative for the country?
What if Trump gives a speech tomorrow and pigs fly out of his ass?
There’s no evidence to suggest the virus is mutating in such a way and we’ve already seen proof of the antibodies developed working not only in the patients who developed them but when used to treat other patients.
The only benefit dragging it out extending the suffering and death is to democrats running for office who can use it as a club to beat Trump over the head.
That isn’t even a given.
The quicker we reach herd immunity the quicker the spread stops including the spread to those most at risk of critical/serious disease or death.

Fate isn’t a group phenomena.
Even if it is a shared outcome.
Born alone…Die alone.

Fate is also not under your control.

Not spiritually.
If you can’t control it… Don’t worry about it.
Depends on which definition you run with.
The Norse for example thought your fate was sealed at birth and nothing you did in life would change the time, manner, and place of your death.
“The Fates” plural goes back to Greek/Roman mythology.
Common to a lot of European “Fate” myths was the idea that your life was laid out by god’s/goddesses before you were born and worn into a tapestry telling the tale of your life starting at birth all the way through death.
Later more modern definitions simply use “fate” as to how your life will turn out either positive or negative but usually dealing with your death.

I thought you were a lawyer.
Every choice, every decision we make in life changes our fate.
Your life boils down to a matter of inches and seconds.
A second too early or late through an intersection can be the difference in life and death.
The difference between a fatal and non fatal shots can be even less than an inch. Move a split second earlier or later the bullet can kill you or miss you cleanly.
A split second late on the trigger in a gun fight can cost you your life.
A split second too late on the trigger or too early and an innocent bystander can catch the bullet.
We are to a great extent always the masters of our own “fate”.

So, hey, thanks, but I’ll speak to him directly.
If you want to have a private conversation use the pm function.
I’ll speak to whatever I want in the open forum at least within the rules of the site.
When you get your little moderator badge I might consider your opinion worthy of consideration, till then. Nope.
You now have a law degree and have passed the bar?
