and no, at least here, people are still getting vaccinated. It’s way more open right now, but I know a lot of people still trying to get their shot. A lot of people can’t take off work, and weekend time slots fill up the fastest.

That’s me. My work is offering them but it’s a possible two weeks off if symptoms develop. We’re short staffed already (due to occupancy limits) and almost nobody wants to screw over their co-workers to get the shot. Especially when there’s no guarantee it works anyway.

This “study” is not peer-reviewed. Think about his conclusion for a minute. According to this guy, healthcare workers are just wasting their time wearing masks since they don’t work. Yes, for you, the mask is not doing the job because of your choices. Your experiences do not reflect everyone else’s.

It reflects everyone I’ve seen over the past year. No one wears a mask in any private setting I’ve been in. That includes a wedding of over 100 people. But that’s the reason I said they’re useless. Not because I think they serve no purpose.

It does fill up quick. I had to get mine on a Monday after work. But my job actually allows time off for symptoms. But since I had none, I didn’t pretend to have some. Look, I love days off, but that’s just being a jerk.

But here in NJ you can get a shot even if you’re young and healthy, and for quite some time now. All you have to do is say you smoke whether you do or don’t. No one checks for proof.

After visiting a few countries, most recently Costa Rica, many Americans tend to be more of the “arrogant, I know better, they can’t tell me what to do”.
