Glad you came around to the science.
Vaccine reluctant are usually the same people that donât like mask mandates along with other mandates. Telling them to get the vaccine but nothing is changing, is not exactly inspiration.
Weâre going to have to accept that a lot of younger, much healthier people are not getting the vax no matter what. In my family, out of the nieces, nephews, and cousins, only two got the vaccine. The rest arenât doing it for various reasons. Iâll list them if youâd like.
My job offered vaccines to any employee. Real simple. Walk in, walk out. Less that 50% chose to get the vaccine.

Thatâs my thinking as well. Do you know anyone that is not getting a vaccine because they feel safe among the masked?

There is no point to risking the vaccine with no personal benefit.
Greater good wonât sell.
Oh and the virus isnât all that scary risk wise.

These should not be happening now.
It is like a horror movie where the victims just stand there.
Risking the vaccine? What risk are you thinking about?

I have taken the vaccine. I am confident it is safe.
There are many who are not for a variety of reasons.
Think of it as risk management. In the US, we have had 572k deaths and 32.2M cases. That is a 1.8% death rate.
We have administered 96M (full) vaccinations. There have been 3.5k deaths after vaccination. A review of these showed no link. Even if we decide to be cautious and attribute all of these deaths to the vaccine, we get a 0.004% death rate. Thatâs a lot less than the rate for Covid and thatâs incorrectly assuming all deaths after the vaccine are attributable to the vaccine.

When does it become hypocrisy?

Glad you came around to double arm interval.

I am not the one you need to convince. There are 332 M or so people in the US so that puts the overall risk at 0.17% vs the risk of a quite new vaccine. That is what the administration is up against getting more people vaccinated and their trust level is at an all time low soâŚgood luck.

âYou shouldnât tell other people to wear masks just because Covid could be transmitted from them to others. Itâs none of your business what they do. You donât like them ignoring the guidelines or a storeâs rules, you should leave.â
âWe should totally mock and harass people who wear masks! Itâs totally our business what they choose to do, and even though it doesnât affect us in any way, we should tell them how to live!â

The last time I wore a mask outside was when I was around 10 on October 31st.

You seem confused about the definition of hypocrisy.
