MSNBC host Chris Matthews tore-into Bernie Sanders’ far-left proposals ahead of the New Hampshire primary this week; saying ‘Socialism’ simply “doesn’t work” when put into practice.
“The Democratic Party has to figure out its ideology… A lot of us will be sorting things out if the Democrats run a socialist candidate,” said Matthews. “I have my own views on Socialism… They go back to the 1950s. I remember the Cold War. I believe if the Reds had won the Cold War there would have been executions in Central Park, and certain other people would be there cheering.”

“The issue of this campaign is Socialism. Some people like it. Those of us like me who grew up in the Cold War… I’ve seen what socialism is like. I don’t like it. It’s not only not free, it doesn’t frickin’ work!” he added.
