I disagree with that notion. Looting from a business that has nothing to do with the crux of the protest is not a form or justice or “reparations”. It’s a crime and if caught, deserves restitution and/or jail time

I do have a problem with People who care more about a looted store than a dead kid and it is highlighted in this thread. There are people who feel worse about the store than they do the murdered.

There are countless examples of “accidents” causing death, that can’t be called incompetence or Gross incompetency where no charges are filed.

Of course it was “stupid” Of course it’s terrible and tragic. People make mistakes. This is not a mistake in judgement or something “training” could solve. People sometimes short circuit and no one alive is free of error.

Now if she has a neurological problem causing mental lapses and the police department have been ignoring a pattern of her Short Circuiting, then the department could be liable.
