No, it isn’t. Cancel culture is a canceling of culture, not companies.

I don’t see that as relevant to this discussion. Are you opposed to boycotts because you consider them cancel culture? Does it get your support or not support based on whether it is cancel culture or not cancel culture?
Its not really relevant to this thread as far as I can see.
Save it for a thread where Disney fires people for complaining about the way they post about discrimination against conservatives.
American is defined by a gender fluid potato?
That’s probably right.
But not losing customers isn’t the metric they’re working from. They are seeking to gain customers.
Boycotts are dumb because they rare work.
if you want to punish MLB go after their sponsors.
this is why Liberal are so good at “Cancelling” stuff.

How does this achieve that?
I disagree.
I am not opposed to boycotts, and I think “cancel culture” is a big pile of ■■■■■■■■■
I’m guessing they are betting that upper-middle class coastal elitists are more likely to be part of that 10%.

I have yet to see an effective boycott of anything. Remember how the NFL was going to be damaged? And Target because of some policy about restrooms. I agree, there is going to have to be a more organized way of handling a boycott or they should give them up.
I find cancel culture ■■■■■■■■ because it doesn’t allow for people to accept fault and grow as people.
posted some racist ■■■■ once? well your career is done doesn’t matter if you have moved on as a person and admitted your fault.

“Cancel culture” is a new name for an old thing, and railing against it is akin to railing against human nature itself.

Companies can be culture generation tools.

Indeed. Repressive tolerance.
Yep, the next generation, will bring back the 90’s in full force.
just be as offensives as humanly possible.
No, the ones in all those coastal elitist enclaves between Virginia Beach and Portland (Maine).
Bet you have never had to drive over an hour in a blizzard to vote. Bet all those dark skinned people waiting in line that forgot to bring their own water have not had to either.
