You did by calling it black privilege

I agree.

Many ways to increase national awareness without punishing the very people it was supposed to help.

This is the problem today…everything is done to generate maximum conflict.

Very few people seek to raise awareness by other means.

Yes we are at a point where maybe since there is no common shared reality anymore that understanding is impossible.

But hardly anyone is even trying.

I thought so. You’re wrong about it not being about race. It’s right in the title.

It’s about race now. McIntosh didn’t just teach about white privilege. She taught about privilege.

In one case. There are all kinds of privilege, as you have learned. Very rarely is about race. It is in this case.

What’s the name of the book?

Conservatives…we see libs here doing it all the time. Proof positive they’re not a racist.

I edited to say ā€œjustā€.

Yes she used white privilege and male privilege because those were her personal experiences.

But the concept of privilege was to raise awareness that in all systems there are people that gain unearned advantages and are also people who are disadvantaged in an unearned way.

The idea of pure individual existing outside of any system, where they make their own way, is a myth.

But it’s not a black privilege to be able to self segregate. White people can do that as well.

I thought that it was obvious hyperbole. I’ll keep it in mind that you have trouble discerning such.

No it wasn’t. She was a Critical Theorist just like those today. A radical feminist. Her purpose was the same as theirs.

 As a white, radical feminist.

Usually. It is more a question of degree and level.

Wrong. Not anymore they can’t.

Nobody does.

You can mail it. Post office will pick it up from the mailbox at your house, or at the nearby USPS mailbox.
