Now things can get back to normal in Missouri, and hopefully in November Hawley will defeat McCaskill.

Members of HIS OWN PARTY were calling on him to step down and started doing so weeks ago.

Absolutely. It’s almost as if he didn’t really want to run for the seat. So he is indifferent on the outcome. I’m probably going to vote for Austen Petersen in the Primary here. But the establishment is behind Hawley so he will likely come out on top. I’ll obviously vote for him in the general too. But he will need a lot more than me to beat her.

It sounds as though he was pushed into running, which is never a good thing. Should always be the candidate’s idea.

McCaskill was so beatable last time too, that is until Akin won the primary. I’d really like to see her gone, but won’t hold my breath on that.
