Michigan school shooting

3 dead. The shooter is 15 year old. They said he did this because he was bullied in school. He took the handgun from his father who bought it less than a week ago.

Guns or not. Bullying is the problem here. It happens all the time. Parents, students and schools need to make this #1 priority.

And do what?

Why is he being charged with domestic Terror but Darrel Brooks isn’t?

Not much to be done, sure, you can stop overt bullying, by the way, the cops say he wasn’t bullied or at least no reports of it were filed. But at the heart of bullying, is that other kids don’t like you, you can take away all overt forms of bullying but you can’t make anyone like him.

Where did he get the weapon? And why is it guns are used so often nowadays when conflict arises?

“Thoughts and prayers” seem to be the coin operated response.

Much better response is to try and end everyone else’s right to self defense I suppose.

Perhaps we should all get behind the right not to get murdered in schools.

Is there anyone opposing it?

So arm the teachers. Cool.

Overtly? No. But it sure as hell not a high priority for most.

What happens to a kid who “files a report”?

Open source knowledge.

Because they aren’t taught to defend themselves. Or fail.

Petty.

Make snitches and keep kids in their bubble.

I agree. It should be illegal and those who violate it punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Sheer stupidity.

Have you ever met a 15 year-old? Been to a school?
