Miami Mayor Election results Tuesday December 9--and Georgia

Ok. Last night Rally Trump:

President Trump: “And we even brought our superstar today, Karoline [Leavitt]… Isn’t she great? Is Karoline great? When she goes on television like Fox [News]—I mean they dominate… when she gets up there. She gets up there with that beautiful face and those lips that don’t stop, ba ba ba like a little machine gun.”

He’s 80 she’s 30 and works for him.

He’s a piggy, so yes, he earns every bit of it.

He can’t help himself. The woman is 10 or so years younger than his own daughter.

Just saw this fact on Twitter. Is this good for the GOP or bad? I’m not sure.

So far in 2025, Democrats have flipped 25 GOP-held state legislative seats.

Republicans have flipped 0 Democratic0-held seats.

Ms. Higgins the next mayor of Miami ran a successful campaign highlighting “making Miami affordable”. The voters heard something considering Mr. Gonzalez (R) basically campaigned similarly along with the DeSantis property tax reductions we’re hoping pass the legislature. We don’t live in Miami but the cost of living and affordable housing is an issue. Miami is insanely expensive. Ms. Higgins has a city council to work with and that “affordability” promise is a rough one to be sure. Hope she can deliver, the voters apparently are willing to give a Dem a shot after 30 years of Republicans running the city. So far I’m of the impression she is a moderate Dem and not a lunatic like Mamdimwit. The Miami PD is going to be her best ally in my opinion, Miami has some rough areas and tourism generates big money for the city. Here in PBC our District 90 is sending a Dem to Tallahassee He was the mayor and Commissioner of Delray Beach. Delray seems to have been running smoothly, the Republican challenger did about 35% and an independent received about 12 votes
