Financial aid needs to be managed by the donors. If suffering countries don’t want donors to direct the funds they give, they can refuse the aid. As is clear from Puerto Rico’s aid fiasco, giving the money to the wrong people to manage helps a few as a smokescreen for further empowering the oppressors.
Many steps are taken to guarantee just that, right down to people on the ground in country physically inspecting and visiting the areas, but it’s still a very tough job. You are not the first one to have considered just that, give our country a little credit at least.

Why the shift? Why would the democrats change to wanting to decriminalize illegal border crossing and give illegals tax payer paid healthcare? We can lol all we want but the left is losing the working man vote even the union votes to the party you just described as ripping them off.
They are here illegally. The family preference in immigration law gives preference to immediate family members to come here legally and gain permanent status and possibly citizenship in the future.
I read Warren’s plan from your link and then read the Mother Jones article Sneaky linked. I made notes from Warren’s plan as I was reading it and the Mother Jones article hit on most of my concerns. How is the MJ interpretation of Warren’s plan at all misleading? The bullet points and quotes are directly from Warren’s plan and the questions are valid.
Because in the end politics is about power and politicians being able to pump their chests out about their great government programs that little to nothing in actually making things better. In the meantime those in power and their families reap the benefits of being in those positions of power.
