I don’t recall that being one of his main campaign points, he was more into illegal immigration, the wall, trade, law enforcement, the military, and making the country great again which should automatically unite the country.

Ok I’m for most of those things. I want illegal immigration stopped. Even with a wall.
Law enforcement should be a local issue.
Military expenditures need to be cut, not raised. Make it mean and lean. We are still running on the relics of a military strategy designed for the Cold War. And an equal portion of the welfare state needs to be cut along with it.
Where does that leave someone like me?

Hey genius I want the waste cut. There’s a ton of waste in the procurement system that needs to be trimmed. Programs need to be rethought. That need to justify their existence. A scalpel, not a chainsaw approach. Like Gerald R Ford class which is turning into yet another multi billion dollar cluster ■■■■ of a project.
And I want the welfare cut dramatically. It’s overly abused and it’s going to a millstone around our neck by the time my generation is in their 50s. We can’t afford it in the long run. Time to start trimming it now so we don’t have to throw people to the wolves in 30 years.
I actually primarily read books pertaining to the First World War, my favorite historical subject. But I enjoy anime once in a blue moon. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. I don’t criticize your media choices.

The cuts I’m talking about wouldn’t impact the nuclear delivery force. I would actually take money from programs like the Ford class and move it to speeding up construction of the Columbia Ballistic missile subs.
It was Obama and Eric Holder who instigated the war on cops and local liberal city officials allowed the rioting, looting and violence and if local law enforcement actually enforced the law they were threatened with investigation by the DOJ. Every other day we hear of cops being killed and/or shot at an that’s the legacy of Obama! 
It’s time for a legit Federal DOJ to set the local liberal lawbreaking officials strait and start arresting city officials for the riots they allow and if local law enforcement can’t handle it then send in the troops!
If you want a lean mean military you need to spend more $$$ on high tech not less and I support spending more!
