Media Leak Strategy by FBI and DOJ?

The leaks are not coming from Mueller. We all know this is the case, at least those of us tethered to reality anyway. The leaks all come AFTER Mueller and his team have met with someone to interview them, or they sit before a Grand Jury. Most of the leaks can trace back to people within the Trump administration itself, which leaks in an unprecedented fashion in modern American history.

And while it is true that the Democrats do not have anyone that stands out right now as the odds on favorite for the nomination, we can be all but assured that Trump will face a Primary challenger, or multiple challengers from within the GOP. He is likely also going to face a strong Independent conservative candidate, that will campaign from a position of returning sanity to the GOP and the right. With the ever-shrinking number of people registering as Republican, coupled with the massive number of people abandoning the party, Trump will be left with a ~30% base of voters that will not be capable of ensuring his victory. If he does not work to expand his base, rather than only focusing on them, he will be a one-term President. Bookmark it my friend.

We know Mueller isn’t PERSONALLY doing the dirty work.

He is ultimately responsible and has already tainted the investigation enough that any report will be just more partisan hackery instead of systemic solutions to counter international (scope should go beyond Russia, but it is what it is…) embroilment in domestic political rhetoric and election campaigning.

Your only Presidential salvation rests with the economy tanking, otherwise Trump wins in a landslide in 2020. With small business activity and optimism at a strong and health pace and tax reforms ongoing, Trump has shown to be the right President at the right time.

:wolf:

Nor is anyone from his investigative team.

How exactly has he tainted the investigation, or made it partisan in any way, shape or form? That makes no sense, given all of the available information.

We will see. But you sound just like the Democrats and liberals before the 2016 election.

How has he tainted the investigation???

Chuckle of the day for me…Thanks!

I figured you didn’t have anything of value to offer here. Thanks for not disappointing.

He should run for President as a Republican.

The idea that any aspect of the Mueller investigation will offer value or insight is also quite hilarious.

Thanks again…

Really? The indictments have revealed a lot about what he uncovered with regard to Russia’s involvement.

Your idea of “a lot” differs wildly from my own.

Meh. It wasn’t long ago we were still hearing from the faithful Trump supporters that it might not have been Russia that hacked the DNC.

What an odd thing to say seeing as how it already uncovered the massive network Putin was using via the GRU to attack our nation.

The main problem I have with Mueller is his longstanding and close relationships with Comey and Rod Rosenstein. I think it affects his ability to be objective. There was no reason Rosenstein couldn’t have chosen a more neutral lawyer to handle the investigation.

Wasn’t that CNN? People forget how the Obama admin actually used our NSA and FISA to spy on reporters, who printed the unflattering truth about their administration,s activities.

"The Obama administration has used the Espionage Act to go after whistleblowers who leaked to journalists … more than all previous administrations combined."

Jake Tapper Thursday, January 2nd, 2014 in a broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper”

MSNBC panelist: Obama administration ‘most hostile’ to media

CBS News’s Bob Schieffer gave the following quote to former Washington Post Executive Editor Leonard Downie, for a report on Obama administration transparency: “When I’m asked what is the most manipulative and secretive administration I’ve covered, I always say it’s the one in office now,” Schieffer told Downie. “Every administration learns from the previous administration. They become more secretive and put tighter clamps on information. This administration exercises more control than George W. Bush’s did, and his before that.”

A more neutral person than a lifelong Republican who served as one of the longest heads of the FBI in our nation’s history? A man who has literally devoted his entire adult life to the defense of our nation, the rule of law, and the Constitution. There is no one better qualified than Robert Mueller.

You don’t think Pravda and Russian, or Soviet, advocates have been doing this as long as they have existed?

The only difference now is social media and electronic communication, which makes the message of socialism (next step before actual communism) that much more pervasive and seductive.

Nothing new here at all.

No. As the Senate Intelligence Committee’s report showed us from their investigation, what transpired here is completely unprecedented. That you turn a blind eye to this and chock it up as just being par for the course, is what is truly tragic. We see what value you place in regards to love of your country. Since their attacks helped your team, then you could care less about this historic attack on our nation by a hostile foreign regime. This is what tribalism has done to you. Shameful.

What are you even talking about? That makes no sense at all.

You are full of chuckles today.

The D march out openly Socialist candidates while the intelligence agencies focus on a Russia conspiracy that does not appear to break any laws and can best be called collusion and we are supposed to be concerned about Russia instead of the far left turn of the D party?

Looks to me like the Russia collusion investigation needs to take a look at the D party and the message they are running toward.

Neither does the collusion theory or the Mueller investigation.

History will be harsh to you and your ilk. Know this reality.
