Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell stopped-by ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night to weigh-in on the President’s overwhelming acquittal; saying the Democratic Party is behaving like “a bunch of children.”
“They look diminished, small, petty, and insignificant to me. Your thoughts?” asked Hannity.
“Right now, this is a political loser for them. They initiated it, they thought this was a great idea. For the short term, it’s been a colossal political mistake,” said McConnell. “The Speaker tearing up the President’s speech? How childish and petty is that? What kind of example does that set for the American people?” asked McConnell.
“We’re in Congress, sitting together, among ourselves. We ought to be able to disagree and not behave like a bunch of children,” he added. “You can best describe it as Trump Derangement Syndrome. Whatever he’s for, they have a negative response to it immediately.”
