McCarthy getting physical

While participating in an interview with Rep. Burchett, Claudia Grisales, a congressional correspondent, witnessed McCarthy shove Burchett. CNN later interviewed him and he states it was a kidney punch.

This is what the house has become.

Read this book a couple of years ago. History doesn’t repeat but it tends to rhyme.

The report didn’t come from him. It cam from a PBS reporter who saw it…

Have NEVER seen this on Capitol Hill:

While talking to
@RepTimBurchett
after the GOP conference meeting, former
@SpeakerMcCarthy
walked by with his detail and McCarthy shoved Burchett. Burchett lunged towards me. I thought it was a joke, it was not. And a chase ensued…

Video or it’s tabloid BS. :rofl:

Since there’s cameras everywhere, is there a video?

Just remember one thing:

Dictatorships are neat, democracies are messy.

The NPR article has been updated with audio of the altercation.

I would also like to see more of this.

Sanders has to be a Dad and calm down a Senator from fighting a Teamster at a hearing.

This is really stupid.

Imagine that, Bernie is the voice of reason.

Bernie is a â– â– â– â– â–  .

Went on NewsMax later and spoke wistfully of comings in Congress.

Guys 10 years ago when I was calling the GOP the Party of Calhoun that was (sort of) a joke, not aspirational.

I agree…but:
On the other hand, having a fist fight is one thing and shooting a Congressman in the ball park is quite another.
So Republicans settle their differences with the good ole style of usin punches where the Liberals go shoot the oposition after sit-in-wait from the bushes.
OK.

A republican candidate went shooting up Democrat homes after he lost.

I think incidents like these are more significant when politicians engage in them, rather than random crazy people.

Still no video to accompany this little tabloid tingle, huh? :rofl:

Pics of Mullin hiding out and running for his life during the Notaviolentinsurrection.

Hmmm, what’s that political ideology that endorses political violence called again?
