Mayor of SF bans 22 states

I live in Oklahoma and am insulted that the mayor did this. So I wrote a song in her honor.

Home of the Deranged (to the tune of Home on the Range)

Oh give me a home

Where the homeless all roam

And the libs and the democrats play

Where seldom is heard

A conservative word

What really goes on out here

I can’t honestly say

Home of the deranged

Where the weird and the hopeless

All stay

Where often is heard

Don’t step on that turd

No plastic straws here while

syringes float in the bay

Oh give me a tent

I can’t afford rent

So out on the sidewalk I stay

Free healthcare and food

Are both really good

As long as someone else pays

Home of the deranged

Where the Dims and the

Librocrates play

Where seldom is heard

A conservative word

What really goes on out here

I can’t honestly say.

I don’t understand the title.

Shouldn’t that have gotten a mention in the song, if it’s the title?

Probably, but this is a new poster. They are new.

Considering the OP, it’s probably placed in the wrong section too.

If they stick around they’ll probably learn how things are done.

Oct 17, 2019 - The city of San Francisco has added 22 states with laws limiting abortion … said Mayor London Breed in a press release announcing the ban .

The mayor of San Fran whose last name is “Breed” is blacklisting states who have laws limiting abortion.
Sorry, I just had to laugh.
But seriously, a municipality administrator limiting city employees freedom of travel?
Get the blankety blank outta here!

They didn’t ban city employees traveling. Right in the article it states:

“ The city of San Francisco, CA, has banned all city-funded travel to states that have recently adopted pro-life legislation.”

City-funded travel. The city employees are not banned from traveling at all.

Kind of makes me laugh. It reminds me of when people feel the need to tell others on a message board that they are being put on ignore. No one cares. Most of those states probably don’t want anyone from San Francisco to visit anyway.

Yeah, where’s the ban?

Ok my bad, no city funded junkets to his banned states. Okay

Last year I was to be a part of a convention to be held in San Fran. I told them I wouldn’t be going and refuse to step foot there because it would help financially support them. This year, the subject came up regarding future places in upcoming years and I was told that San Francisco has been removed from potential destination choices. San Fran is alienating themselves from the country and will pay a heavy burden for their choices.
