i read the link, The one paragraph you and SF quoted, does not disqualify the rest of the article that does not agree with your narrow assessment.

It was a balanced look at many variables.

Somehow, you think it is a gotcha. Life, is not a gotcha.

Good lord.

My USPS is not. Got a book in the mail yesterday. It was expected tomorrow.

Disqualify? No. It qualifies the rest of it.

Good for you.

When I said we, I meant my work.

I live in silicon Valley…pretty populous area. Safe to assume, larger populations are having more issues.

That link addresses overseas mail that was restricted because of COVID. Probably fear of contamination. I don’t see the relevance.

Huh, I sent a gift to an address in Houston. Also arrived on time. Houston is a pretty populous area.

What does your work have to do with voting?

So overall, would you say the article did a decent job of discerning accurate info, to help one understand the situation?

No. Overall, I would say the article did a good job of presenting several viewpoints.

Including police unions?

OK…that’s a valid argument IMO. But to say unless they receive 25 billion dollars you’re ballot won’t get delivered in timely fashion was total BS…and you know it.

We ship and receive packages, We use all the carriers.
I know it is anecdotal, just as your is. Just putting it out there.

In my book if federal government unions can’t keep their noses out of politics they all should be disbanded.
Want to disband the police unions go for it.
This has brought a big problem to my attention. Just sent emails to my state representatives about federal unions getting involved in politics.
Maybe it’s time to bring in the postal union heads and grilling them about how impartial their employees are. Seems to me that this poses a big problem if the unions are delivering mail in ballots.

And that does not help one understand the situation?

Yes…because of COVID 19. That’s why they got 10 billion in the CV bailout package.

Want to try again?

Interesting…you may be right. Automation.

Maybe you need to go to your local post office and find out what the problem is. Sounds like a local problem to me.
I know rural people in every country in my state and mail is getting delivered as usual.

Because of COVID…not monetary.

No reason to shell out 25 billion then.
