Anti-Trump crusader and left-wing superstar Maxine Waters found herself in hot water this week after she was hit with a new FEC complaint regarding her campaign finances; raising serious questions about payments to the California Congresswoman’s daughter.

According to Fox News, the liberal legislator is under new scrutiny over her extensive use of “slate mailers” to raise donations; reportedly paying her daughter over $750,000 since 2004 to help produce the documents.

“The first complaint alleges Waters broke federal campaign finance law, and also names the California Democratic State Central Committee and Sen. Kamala Harris, a likely 2020 Democratic presidential contender,” writes Fox.

“The conservative National Legal and Policy Center is still drafting a second broader complaint focusing on the sources of money going to the Waters campaign and flowing to her daughter—and the accuracy of campaign finance reports, said Tom Anderson, director of the group’s government integrity project,” adds the site.
