Half the age plus 7 is the gold standard to not be creepy. 26 would be the minimum appropriate age for his mistress.

I’m not disagreeing. I’m pointing out that given the way many 17 year old’s behave, 17 is not that heinous of an age. For all we know she could have been 2 days away from being 18.

A thirty eight year old dude banging seventeen year olds is weird and creepy. Twenty five year olds banging high school girls is weird and creepy.

Well what Gaetz is specifically accused of is statch rape and creepy, it’s the fact that his good buddy was recruiting these young girls as sugar babies and then apparently passing them around to Gaetz and others before turning them out as hoes that really pushes this into the territory of unbelievably bad.
