This is what Texas desperately tried to do - and it was rightfully laughed out of the Supreme Court.
Here is the problem. They are not “their” votes.
So take the case of legitimate voters, following the rules outlined by their local government… they should not be disenfranchised by problems with these rules… UNLESS the rule itself created a vote that otherwise would be illegitimate. (Like allowing children to vote)
There is a long history of voting rules being tossed as illegal after the fact. Long, and many. The remedy is to nullify the rule going forward and sanctioning the body that established the rule.
In your suggestion, I could volunteer at your polling center, subtly skip a required action when handling your vote and then have it tossed. Not really an acceptable remedy.

More evidence today’s conservatives dislike democratic republics.

He’s even spun a story about how there was an attempted hacking and that his “chief whislteblower’s” office was “raided”.
He provided zero evidence either of these things happened, but of course since he said so, and he DOES have the goods (that he still hasn’t shared after 24 of the 72 hours has expired) of course they happened.
You are witnessing the spinning of grievance politics into a Narrative for Action in real time…like if we had had live streaming in the 1920s and 30s.
Question will be what harm comes from this…because mark my words, harm WILL come from this.
So if I’m hearing you correctly, all votes from any place contested by the GOP should be thrown out? That’s kind of what DEMs were looking to do in Florida following the 2000 election.
