Since reading this forum, I have become a pro gun rights person. I never post about wanting to limit access or take away anyone’s guns or anything like that.

I also don’t have guns. I don’t want them, don’t need them. Not interested in them. But day-um, if I was a gun owner, I could see that with rights come responsibilities, and I would want to police my own group, maybe protect the rights of those at the other end of the trigger for awhile.

Instead, gun owners dance around with the same tired tropes about tools and aInT noboDdy takKEing mAh gUNZ.

Geezus, every shooter knows they’re going to get that cover.

I don’t own a gun either but I think their attitude comes from the fact most of these people are just good people who would never hurt anyone. But likely they would among the first ones targeted if there was a ban.

The people doing the killing are usually crazy deranged people and I will take a guess not many card-carrying members of the NRA

Of course that is the El Paso shooter. Who knows about the Dayton shooter? Something to do with his sister, maybe?

To be honest I’m not getting much information about the shooter…but my guess it doesn’t fit their narrative.

By all accounts what I’ve read so far, neither has the shooter fit any narratives.

One amazing thing was response time. Speakers have referred to the way he was stopped within 30-60 seconds-- thankfully.
