Hawaii has very strict gun laws. Hawaii also is unique in a way that due its geography, it’s obviously pretty challenging to bring firearms in there from other states.
And the outcome -
Hawaii has the 51st highest rate of gun violence in US, good for lowest in the nation.
“In the state of Indiana, there are no specific laws requiring a background check to buy or sell a firearm in a private transaction between two non-licensed individuals.” Of course not.
So that law making it illegal for a DEALER to sell to out of staters has no teeth at all.
So the circumstances around the shooting indicate the motivation for the shooting? This guy hated America, Colvin hated first graders, and Holmes hated Batman?
