It’s literally hopeless discussing immigration with libs as that term along with “multiculturalism” and “diversity” has become sacrosanct components of their ideology. The consequences of having an open border are essentially irrelevant as their belief in the efficacy of big government to bring about a better life for all is also a fundamental component of that ideology as well, evidence be dammed:

The thrust of this thread has been about the ECONOMIC and SOCIAL (strains on hospitals, schools, housing, etc.) impact of immigration in various industrialized countries with high costs if living. And the only response from those on the Left here is RACISM, RACISTS, RACISM, RACISTS, AHHHHH!
