People with weakened immune systems or chemo patients, or people with other conditions making them vulnerable to serious covid will likely still be wearing masks.

I can’t wait either. They know it’s coming which is why they are acting so pissy these days especially the libs that have been getting such a kick out of Gubmint control over the general population.

Which they should have been doing all along? No they’re supposed to wear masks? It’s not patriotic for all of us anymore?

Given the low levels of covid in the community, I personally don’t see the need for mask mandates right now. I think it should be left to the individual.
My opinion would change if we have another Omicron - like spike, which was killing 2-3K americans a day.
But right now, no, I don’t think it’s warrented.
I really don’t see the problem the N95/KN95 Masks actually do protect well I will wear that like I do in most public places it doesn’t mean everyone should have to. I would get being upset if it said masks were no longer allowed.

There isn’t low levels of covid in the community.

What an odd thing to say.
Your state has about the lowest levels of cases in the pandemic. And the lowest hospitalizations ever.
Certainly the cases is under reported because of home tests and people not testing, but still, unless you live in the handful of red counties on the map, your community rate is very low.
What could possibly go wrong?

Oh, right, flights could be canceled because of flight crews getting sick. The price of freeberty.
The problem is, it’s an individual choice. The left doesn’t tolerate individuals very well.

There’s another explanation.

Sure, sure.
Fact remains, covid risks are very low throughout the country, and there is no real reason for mask mandates at this time IMO.

United States District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle overturned the mask mandate for air travel, stating the CDC had overstepped its authority and failed to state sufficient reasoning for the rule.
Now while I believe that the point is well past where masks served any useful purpose and I support the decision, I can’t help but think that the very loud sound of “whine” emanating from this board in the last day or two may have helped the decision along.

By the way, speaking of “young ladies” Mrs. Mizelle is quite the young lady.
The ink is still wet on her law degree.
She held a tea party with her bailiffs and Barbie dolls after writing the decision.
And yes, she is a Trump appointee and her husband is/was a Trump official/supporter.
Again, while I support the decision, somebody will bring up her party affiliation, so I will get that out of way in the OP.
