Work is what aggravated me the most. I moved to the midnight shift to get away from the mask. I can’t imagine someone having to wear a mask for the entire 8 hour shift, every day.

i cant either, (unless in med profession. )

which is why i dont at work anymore either. it’s stupid

almost as much as plexiglass barriers

What’s comical is that these freakish libs thought people were abiding by the mask rules. No one was abiding by these rules unless they were in the public eye. No one was wearing masks behind closed doors. No one.

Of course people were not wearing masks at home why would they?

Mask wearing has been proven to be effective in slowing down transmission so anyone saying wear a mask and you will not get infected are wrong. Mask wearing in public is just one way of slowing down transmission and should not be done as the only safety precaution.

I actually think Trump did as well as any President would in the early days of the pandemic. We had not faced a health crisis on a global scale in this way in recent memory.

Mistakes were made but that is to be expected and the lessons learned will be implemented for future pandemics.

Everyone was trying to find the right path in 2020 as they had no playbook to rely on.

But those who screamed it was a conspiracy to control the population and the beginning of jackboot fascism under a new world order just made a bad situation worse. We are now in 2023 and look America exists and is not really different to how it was 5, 10, 15 years ago etc.

I wasn’t talking about wearing a mask at home. I was talking about not wearing a mask where you were supposed to wear a mask, but out of the public eye. At my job, you think people were wearing masks in the building? No one wore a mask in the building. Not the managers, not the clerks, no one. I was supposed to wear a mask at all times in the booth. I just put it on when someone pulled up. I’m not sitting there alone in a booth wearing a mask.

All it takes is one person. You have to know the situation you’re in. If you’re in an office or even a work truck, if the occupants all don’t want to wear a mask, they don’t.

I guess the idea behind the booth rules was so that you don’t contaminate the work area. A work area that was supposed to be cleaned daily, but never was.

Here’s a good one. Posted at my job, and I forget the effective date. It says, on this date, daily employee health checks or no longer required. LOL, I assure you there were never any daily health checks. Ever. Not even once.
