All are unvaccinated…

Can’t force it.

Not a crisis.

300 people dead a day isn’t a crisis from a preventable disease.

What would you call it then?

Allan

Same thing you call any preventable death.

Crisis?

How come you can’t come up with a word for it.

Minor inconvenience?

A problem?

Cat got your tongue?

Allan

A lot of people are still wearing masks because of fear… It’s the outward appearance that matters. It doesn’t matter if they’re vaccinated or not.

I know this is going to sound odd now, but before the pandemic it was forbidden for any toll collector to wear a mask. Before that even gloves were forbidden. But they gave in on the gloves long ago.

Is the person on the younger side? The New Jersey Turnpike set up vaccine sites across the state for employees only. How easy is that? They’re no longer open because they got everyone they were going to get. It might have reached 40%. All the younger people didn’t get it. What do I think about that? I couldn’t care less.

Issue works for me.

Continuing problem is fine.

Crisis phase is over. Pandemic is over in US.

Or quit coming to work. People who “soldier on” through illness are a major source of disease.

Didn’t the WHO recommend recently that young people (teenagers down) not get vaccinated?

Fear? I wear mine because it is mandatory sometimes.

Why would someone who is vaccinated be fearful?

Allan

Totally.

It’s not a matter of why, they are. This isn’t just my opinion. I don’t know if I posted the article here somewhere, but there were people that were vaccinated that kept wearing the mask because they didn’t know if customers were vaccinated or not. Since anyone can walk into the store vaccinated or not without a mask.

Most of the people still wearing masks when they don’t have to are vaccinated. You tell me why they still wear them if not for fear? I personally know a nervous wreck that wears two masks and she’s vaccinated. She’s 30!!! She walks to work 12 blocks rather than take the bus. It’s insane.

That’s not going to happen. People have a limited amount of time they can take off and will not risk their job or risk not being paid. When I worked road maintenance for 5 years you’d be teamed up with other employees. Most of the supervisors would refuse to isolate sick employees even after they were told someone was sick. They still wouldn’t give them a truck to themselves. I got sick on multiple occasions due to that.

Some supervisors are good, but most aren’t. They think you’re trying to get over. There’s not a single thing you can do about it, and I’m in a union.

Paid sick leave with a doctor’s note?

What does that do? You do realize employers don’t have to care about doctor’s notes, right? You also get a certain amount of sick leave, it’s not infinite. You run out, in a lot of jobs, you’re gone, doctors note or not.

I’m a toll collector in a pretty good union and doctors notes mean nothing in tolls. They go by occurrences. Some departments waive an occurrence with a doctors note, some don’t. If you’re not in a union you can wipe your ass with the doctors note.

Sounds like your union has done a good job protecting their workers. Aren’t Republicans against all unions?

I would imagine the majority are. But there are some that are not. Just like you occasionally find pro choice republicans. My entire family, and at some point it was large, were all pro choice pro union republicans.

Shush! You know damned well that all Republicans are of one mind and speak with one voice as instructed by Fox News.

Well it seems it’s going to take 7 more months to reach 75 percent vaccination rate.

Wasn’t to long ago it was 4 months.

Time to start forcing people to get vaccinated libs…you’re failing.

You mean all the free ■■■■ incentives, lottery entries, and other bribes aren’t enough?
