Yet another great has gone, ay, what a year so far. She had a long life, and it appears the husband she thanked in her novels, John Conheeny, isn’t a survivor of hers.

I heard her interviewed not long ago. Her work ethic was unmatched and I’m fairly certain she was still writing right up to the point she was unable to any longer.
