I worked with Roberto Durán’s cousin and got to meet Roberto about three months before his 1983 bout with Hagler. I remember that I asked him what kind of guy Hagler was. And he told me that he was a very nice guy and that he was sort of sorry that he was going to have to knock him out. That bout went down in history of one of the greats.
