The OP

he also is on record saying the stopping of the airlines wouldn’t effect us much, and supply lines linked to china wouldn’t be badly effected. It’s weird that he now is pretending that he was bearish on things from teh start.

It’s a statement of fact. I don’t see any celebration in the OP.

Celebration would be like ‘suck it trump! Your market gains are gone!’

Yeah…I know. There’s no pattern to his threads…none. Carry on.

What is certainly a pattern is the response to criticism of trump: the accusation of TDS.

It’s the level of criticism…relative to what’s actually being criticized that determines TDS and you…are an expert in this area. :sunglasses: :tumbler_glass:

No, it is the stock response when someone has the temerity to criticise Trump. It has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with the merit of the criticism of Trump.

There is a pattern to his threads, he doesn’t celebrate in them.

Not here obviously.

It is according to the OP.

And you’re not celebrating this bad new for Trump?

Where?

Not sure how my post got quoted cuz where am i blaming Coronavirus on trump?

Nope.

Or being stabbed in the back!

Best not to comment on a historic drop in the DOW. Might upset some people.

Got it.

Not at all. But he is a contributing factor for certain. As President he had the ability to calm investors fears with a factual, complete accounting of what is known and what is being done. But he chose not to do that. And instead he contradicted his own experts trying to play down the risk. He blindsided his own HHS Secretary by placing Pence in charge of the response at the last minute. Who then went and added Kudlow and Mnuchin to the team for God only knows what reason? Certainly not their expansive medical knowledge.

Investors and the market are emotional and impacted by their emotions. Calming fears could have helped stem the losses. Failing to calm fears inevitably causes losses to grow.

No kidding. Trump truly is the most ignorant, intellectually incurious person to ever be in this office.

I think they are so nuts they are willing to lose prosperity & wealth to see Trump hurt. So the solution is a socialist economy that we indeed will have a horrific economy…
