So, I would suggest you rethink your stance that bedside manner doesn’t matter. Your own post provides a good example.
If you know a person is vindictive, manipulator, a liar and a cheat, and you also know (and I don’t think you would disagree) that he is an attention seeker, you could easily predict how he will work with others, how he would in fact LEAD others.
And you could predict, ‘hey, if we get in a bind, and he needs to lean on someone who might know more than he does, like say a general or maybe a epidemiologist…well, I don’t think his personality type will handle that well.’
You could also predict ‘you know, this guy lies about everything. there truly seems to be no bounds to his lying. I suspect he will lie about things - even an election maybe. in such a way as to not only undermine his credibility and effectiveness, but the very institutions enshrined in the constitution that he is sworn to uphold.’
