What is being proposed in that bill is a lot more than just “condemning” Hamas. It involves “sanctions on foreign entities known to have provided financial assistance to Hamas, among other measures.”

I look at a President like a surgeon. I don’t care about his bedside manner. I don’t care if he cheats on his wife or his taxes. I don’t care if his owes his partners money - if I need a surgeon, I want the best skilled.

Donald Trump is a horrible person. He has lied, cheated and manipulated the system his whole life.

I believe he is feeling his own morality as he nears the end, a lot of people do. And in his own weird way, he thinks he’s atoning. Too little too late for society.

For me, the question is “how were the policies?”

Like most of them, some better than others. I liked the strategy, didn’t agree with all the tactics. I didn’t like the petty and personal attacks at all - he was his own worst enemy a lot.

But the direction I liked.

Jbiden is not a good person either. Whether he is a “better” person than Trump is irrelevant to me. His policies definitely are worse.

At the end of the day, I need policy, not a priest. I stopped expecting pols to show morality long ago.

Trump did what he needed to do with the vaccine - he broke the bureaucratic inertia. He also created more than enough white noise with the lie to drown out the achievement.

He should have worn a mask instead of playing macho man.

He didn’t, but he should have. Fauci shouldn’t have lied either, and Trump should have either fired him (he couldn’t) or supported him - not undermine him.

Trump forgot he was the President at times, that was one of them.

He is a petty, vindictive person. He is a rude lout. Self-centered and egotistical. I would not enjoy his company.

But America First.

You chose a surgeon that preferred to practice his craft with an axe instead of a scalpel.

However, I would like to thank you for waiving your right to ever criticize another politician about their moral or ethical character.

Your consistent support of everything Trump ever since he neutered your guy Cruz has been and still is truely disappointing. I guess one way to rationalize that position would be to discard any ethics or morals one might have had.
