That reminds me of the film The Man from Earth. The screenplay mirrors similar concepts of longevity which Jerome Bixby had introduced in Requiem for Methuselah, a Star Trek episode he wrote and that originally aired in 1969.

Maybe that’s why 2020 has been such a dumpster fire.

Looks like returns are still not complete in Maricopa County.

Why would those Republicans want Arpaio back? Crazy.

The problem is compounded by the fact that Sheridan is basically Arpaio, Jr. and Crawford is no good either. All three Republican candidates suck and the Republican write in has no relevant experience to hold the position of Sheriff.
Hopefully Penzone will be reelected.
And hopefully in 2024, a Republican candidate will step forward that has no connection to Arpaio or his reign.

Sheridan won by the skin of his ass. 541 vote margin.
Hopefully, this puts Arpaio to rest once and for all.

Turns out the numbers in the previous post were NOT the final number. The official Maricopa County tally site did not indicate that absentee ballots had not been fully counted.
Evidently, Sheridan did very strongly in the absentee balloting.
The final margin was 6,280 votes, quite a larger margin.
