What a strange encounter. Admittedly, I’ve only seen Jones speak a few times, so maybe this is normal.
I stopped counting how many insane conclusions Alex Jones jumped to in this interview. For example, when Rubio objected to being touched by Jones, Jones assumed he was going to be arrested.
When Rubio, in response, said that he wouldn’t be arrested and that Rubio can take care of himself, Jones assumed that Rubio was threatening physical violence.
The most honest moment in the discussion is when Rubio laughingly called Jones a clown while walking away.
Does anyone respect this Jones guy?
He seems like he’s right in the wheelhouse of a half-dozen regulars around here.
The filtering of speech where it is no longer free and identifying some speech as “hate” because it disagrees with your political philosophy is dangerous to us all. Today…the conservatives are being denied free speech. Tomorrow…it’s another group. NO GROUP should be denied free speech which is a basic tenet of our country.
The only thing that you might be able to make a case for is public access cable.
But no one has a right to someone else’s private platform… especially when that platform is offered for free or in some cases, compensation through ad dollars.
Man, were yesterday not so insane, that would have been the best story of the day. Insane right wingers absolutely swarmed the senate hearing: and GOP rep Long absolutely handled it the best. If you haven’t seen this yet, it’ll likely be the best video clip you’ve seen all day:
Yes. Some people respect him. They are the type of people who spend 5 hours a day on you tube watching conspiracy videos and believing every one they see. Every society has it’s lunatic fringe.
