Senator Manchin is one of the three Democratic Senators that voted for Gorsuch for SCOTUS, and he is the only Democratic Senator that voted for Sessions as AG.

If I lived in WV, I would vote to reelect Manchin as Senator.

To be fair to Manchin, remember what happened to the last Dem who supported a GOP presidential candidate? Dem’s attacked the guy like a hive of killer bees and tried to run him out of politics. Manchin is trying to be a moderate Dem in a party that has no tolerance for moderates.

There may be a lot of truth in this but it still appears what he’s really doing is simply trying to BS his way into retaining his seat.

If he has any core beliefs they certainly are not shared by those he’s trying to court now.
