I think you are somewhat right, if they focus on Biden and issues like the economy while at the same time moving their focus away from abortion and all this culture war (for want of a better word/phrase) rhetoric, i really think they would see a different response from voters.
Plus of course having Trump as the defacto leader of the Republican parry is a problem simply because he is so polarizing in a way that Biden is not. As we saw in KY, Trumps endorsement in challenging races does not help.
he was blasted.
in a dead red state.
even clay county was only 64-36 in favor of Cameron.

We have a real problem. Apparently the majority of Republicans want candidates who will ban abortions and the majority of voters donāt want all abortions banned. This is a perfect formula for losing elections. Obviously those who think all abortions are murder arenāt going to yield.
So the answer isā¦ā¦?

The answer is for Republicans to not make it a primary focus in elections.

Take Pa governor race last year for example. It should have been clear warning sign.
Than Ohio repugs tried to pull a fast one earlier when they attempted to make it harder to pass new state amendment for purpose to prevent abortion.
If the state had just worked to allow abortion for first trimester it wouldnāt have been a problem.
Now they allowed abortion anytime during pregnancy.

I see my hometown elected a prog County Executive that ran on a āAllegheny County for allā campaign.
Well ok. Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) youāll never learn. Watch as your taxes skyrocket, the social services expand and your county services continue to decline.
Embrace the suck dumbasses.

of course, reproductive freedom should be limited to end between 15 and 23 weeks depending on state laws of course.
but of course that is but a dream of mine that people can put this issue to bed once and for all times.

This is an issue where there is no common ground but the vast majority of the electorate just do not feel comfortable with outright bans. Any discussion on abortion on this board proves that.

The majority of people were fine with the standard set by Roe.
The GOP upset that and are paying for it.
