Actually Velma is so terrible that it has United both the online right and online left in mutual hatred of a common enemy.
And having watched one episode (well most of it; I couldn’t finish it) I can confirm that it is absolutely trash. Not for any social reasoning, but for its absolute ■■■■ writing.
It made Dragonball Evolution and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation look like masterpieces.

It’s a grade A example of what happens when you give someone in a production absolute power and authority over everyone else’s input.
What makes me mad is that it could have been good. An adult oriented comedy based on the Scooby IP could have been excellent. It worked for numerous other IPs like Space Ghost and even the more gritty animated DC reboots of Batman and Superman.
But they totally ■■■■■■ it up.
I get bits & pieces from YouTube on what he says. He sure likes to shoot the BS, right?
