Then he refused to answer questions about one individual because it could out the whistle blower

I used to work for a defense contractor and I had military member on my team. I obviously wasn’t in their leadership chain… but the tool direction from me because I owned the program.
If that military member had an issue with program execution and personnel… they would come to me.

he was put in charge because of his fp “bona fides”, his whole reason for being on the ticket with obama in the first place. and having been wrong on just about every major fp issue for 40 years certainly does establish him as a democrat expert on fp. Also, putting him in charge showed ukraine, and more importantly russia that we were serious.
what he pushed for, at least in the beginning, was weapons. what he pushed ukraine to do was set up anti corruption courts. both of those things happened under trump. the courts were created by the new legislature just after they were elected and just before aid was released.
now, why is it that biden had us policy changed to include firing shokin who had been in office less than 6 months and at least claimed to be investigating burrisma? officially it was for two reasons. ineffectual, and too slow routing out corruption in the pg’s office. in both cases i would say when the policy was changed, he had bot been in office long enough to make those determinations. so what was the real reason?
then why didn’t he go to morrison? something else he lied under oath about.

I think as a guy who claims to be an expert on all things Ukraine - and he never saw the video, or heard about Biden brag that he fired Shokin, then he’s not informed as he claims, and not the expert on Ukraine that he claims to be.

It wasn’t an assessment, it was conjecture.
To this day there has been no evidence to prove that Trump’s motivations to have the firing of Shokin “looked into” were only an attempt by Trump to dig up campaign opposition research dirt on Biden.
All this has ever been, is opponents of Trump engaging in conjecture and a making presumptions that claim to know Trump’s motivations. Vindman admitted he never knew Biden coerced Ukraine to “fire that prosecutor.” He just created a conspiracy theory and ran with it.
No wonder so many people in the State Department thought there was a quid pro quo, we had high level players like Vindman and Sondland spreading around their presumptions as if they were fact. Even when “no one on planet Earth told them there was a quid pro quo.”

I don’t know what you mean. Under testimony, Vindman said that he had never heard about Biden bragging that he used $1 billion in US aid to coerce Ukraine to fire Shokin. There is no “other” side of this.
