Yes, a few times each, young and dumb.
It could have just been other factors involved, but personally for me the effects were different.
Was it because the crack was more intense? I guess thatās a possibility, but really i donāt think that
matters.
I can see how they technically both have the same effect biologically. itās just that certain effects only happen at certain levels, ie hallucinations.
Although quality and processing could have also played a part?

Yes, thatās it but thatās precisely what makes it more addictive.

If you wanted to get someone addicted the best way to go about it is to up the potency and shorten the time of onset to drive up the reinforcement of the behavior.
Here is my take on this.
I strongly believe someone who might be different is harmed more by those attempting to help that person. By publicly highlighting those differences while demanding everyone treat that individual different, they focus unneeded attention on that person.
That person then becomes the target of multiple different groups. In this case, kids being kids will single out for bullying anyone who is different. The trans individual most likely is not the only student being bullied. Turning the schoolās education upside down for this one individual angers everyone. Teachers and parents alike.
So what is the solution?
Leave things as they are in public. Privately teachers can be pulled aside and provided guidance on how sensitive they might need to be to a recently introduced trans student. No need to make a public spectacle. Teachers who bully the new student would be disciplined in the same manner they would for bullying any student. No need for a special trans bullying guideline.
No matter what policy is put into place kids will be kids. The trans student will likely be bullied by some and accepted or ignored by others. Once again no need for special trans bullying directives. If the trans student is bullied by classmates, the faculty would discipline the bullies as they would for any other bullying incident.
So once again the ole LIB unintended consequences. They have an unfulfilled need to publicly show how much they care. So they make these unnecessary and superfluous rules in order to openly demonstrate their supposed compassion. It should come as no surprise when their public display of compassion backfires by unnecessarily calling attention to someoneās differences.
There was no need for the Virginia law and the resulting public spectacle could have been avoided.
Yet it has heated up quite a bit since then. What is the mechanism for that? What is causing the heat?
I donāt think you are hearing them in context. Iām following the science.

It reflects the erosion of morals and values.
Christianity was not at an all time high in the 50s and 60s. Thatās not even history. That just silly ness. You think that the 1950s and 1960s had more Christianity (however thatās measured) than during the early 19the century.

I donāt consider stupidity in any context.
You seem to be winning the argument against yourself. Kudos.

It helps the flow of the conversation if you quote the post you are replying to.
The little quote bubble at the top left of the quote box.
The effects are not the same, changing the ROI changes the effect and feel of a drug drastically.
On a side not IV cocaine injection is far more addicting than smoking crack.
It is also much cheaper due to the higher bioavailability. Smoking is more effective than snorting cocaine or eating it. For most drugs oral<rectal<snorting<smoking<< IV

Never injected anything so no personal experience with that.
I usually love your posts but drugs/roi that have an instant rapid peak are more addictive. Trying to find the study I saw this in.
Iv cocaine use is more addictive than crack but crack will beat out oral or snorted cocaine.
The bioavailability and onset for IV use canāt be beat
Thatās good, once people start IV you donāt go back to other ways. The increased bioavailability and rapid onset make it far more addictive on top of being much more dangerous.
I donāt think crack and cocaine should be separated anymore than IV or snorted cocaine for sentencing.
The main benifits of crack are for the dealer tho.
