find where i said they didn’t. i said his policy was the only policy that could work in stopping them from getting a nuke. this thread isn’t about them just working on nukes, its about how our policy vis a vie iran effects israel, and in connection with israel, it worked fine. best policy we’be had in 50 years.
Yet Iran clearly advanced their program under Trump. Trump’s policy didn’t seem to work and likely accelerated Iran’s nuclear program.

Iran will never get anywhere close to having a nuke, no matter how many billions democrats give them.
it accelerated nothing and clearly a policy to stop them from getting nukes at all is better than a policy which allows them to get them, just, not now. not now doesn’t work at the border and it doesn’t work to stop proliferation of nukes either. not now means you can. biden ended trumps policy and now there’s no chance at all.
Well as the former President said we are not the worlds police so we should let them sort their own mess out. Two Middle East countries fighting it out.

Under the deal, we didn’t see them advance beyond any of the limits of the deal. After Trump broke the deal, they did. Those are the facts and you spinning that as if nothing accelerated after Trump broke the deal is factually inaccurate.
Yes, an effective policy to stop them from getting nukes at all would be better than delaying tactics. Where did Trump or anyone achieve that?
While not ideal, I live in the real world in accepting half-measures. I think delaying Iran as much as possible is a reasonable approach as I do think Iran will evolve over the next two decades and hopefully we will have a less hardline govt there.

I would imagine they are taking Iran at their word. Since becoming as a nation in1948 they have fought eight recognized wars, two Palestinian intifadas and several skirmishes with Arab nations. I think they understand they are not wanted there.
