All of this is a microsocm of what people were voting for in 2024.
Some were voting for a continuation of immigration as it was occurring under Biden.
Some were voting for hard-line response to the immigrant issue.
The ICE activity is targeting illegal immigrants who have subsequently violated other laws since coming here. It’s not even a hard-line sweep of illegal immigrants in general.

No, they used to issue “backseat licenses” for enlisted mechs, but after a mech took an A4M for a flight they stopped that. We still had one guy in our unit that was backseat qualified and he went up on post maintenance check flights.

What I’m seeing leads me to believe they are targeting illegals who have been in this country for less than 2 years. Current law allows for expedited removal of those illegals with no access to an immigration judge.

I don’t get what you’re saying. When Biden became president the border was much more secure than it was when he left office. And people who voted for Harris were absolutely voting for the status quo.

You seem to be saying that when Trump left office in 2021, the border was much more secure than it was when Biden left office in 2025. In other words, you seem to be agreeing that Biden wasn’t effective in keeping illegals out of this country.
